?John in Living Color? is a reference manual that may be used in conjunction with the author?s other writings. ?Believe: An Aspectual and Metaphorical Analysis of the Gospel of John? is the primary text intended to be consulted for defense of the aspectual and metaphorical coding implemented within the manual. The specialist will wish to consult both texts in conjunction with one another. The full text of the Gospel of John is provided. All occurrences of believe have been marked aspectually, as have all metaphors and synonyms for believe. This reference manual may also be used as a workbook for those wishing to teach through the Gospel of John or study it privately for themselves.
