Todd Haynes directs this documentary focusing on the career of American rock band The Velvet Underground. Formed in New York City in 1964, the film uses interviews with surviving band members alongside archive footage to examine the influential band's legacy and chart their career before they disbanded in the 1970s, having achieved little commercial success.
