When Georgia Wells (Beckinsale) is widowed after her husband dies in a plane crash, her life comes crashing down around her. However, when her husband's body does not show up amongst the wreckage Georgia becomes suspicious and sets out to uncover the truth behind her husband's disappearance.

Her quest takes her to the Democratic Republic of Congo, however she soon discovers that there are individuals looking to thwart her search for answers.
