What Ivy knew about her past couldn't even fill a sheet of paper, and the lack of information was stacking up to be a major problem for the children of the Guard. Their mission to save children who were being threatened by the most powerful people in their world was ticking up, and worst of all, it was the parents of the children who were the most dangerous. She needed to learn more about her past so that she, and her partner Eli, could figure out what had gone wrong just before they were born that had resulted in so many people being driven insane. They are in a race against time to find the answers and create a plan to save their world, because the saviors in the Guard were too few in numbers to save everyone, and they have to take fate in their own hands.
