The title is an allusion to the revolutionary, omniscient perspective called the king's point of view of Spanish master painter Diego Velazquez in his famous Las Meninas (Ladies in Waiting), which is reproduced in the first frontispiece. We present the anthology as a memorial to our deceased beloved member, A. Irving Rosenberg. May he rest in peace.
