Early Childhood Development (ECD) program equips children with basic concepts, skills, and opportunities for different spheres of development that include physical, social, emotional and cognitive. Perceptions of parents and teachers influence the holistic development of children and their readiness for school. This book has discussed the perceptions of parents and facilitators towards holistic development of children. It has also vividly described the enabling environment for quality ECD practices particularly in the ECD centers in Nepal.
