Contributor Bio:  Spence, Catherine Helen Susan Magarey is the author of the prize-winning biography of Catherine Helen Spence, "Unbridling the Tongues of Women. A former director of the Research Centre for Women's Studies at Adelaide University, she now serves there as an adjunct professor of history. Barbara Wall is an author and historian who has compiled the extensive bibliography of Catherine Helen Spence available on the website of the State Library of South Australia as well as the catalog of the Unitarian Christian Church Children's Library, of which Spence was a founder and librarian. Mary Lyons and Maryan Beams were each at different times, Secretary of the Research Centre for Women's Studies at Adelaide University and brilliant transcribers of Catherine Spence's notorious handwriting.
