The Anatomy Of A Woman Abused: One Woman's Journey, is a play in book form. I noticed how many women from shelters and victims services were so moved by the play. I began to wonder how many victims of Domestic Abuse (DV) and Intimate Partner and Violence (IPV) would be unable to attend the play because they were living in isolation and fear, and men are not exempt either. I wrote the play to purge my own pain and to offer others some hope, inspiration and healing. Many people tell me that they buy this book to share with a friend or family member, maybe even a stranger, or even for themselves. They hope it will encourage them to see the play. Domestic Violence does not stay in the home. It affects us all either directly or indirectly, with no regard to race, sex, religious affiliation, or economic status. Though it is the story of one woman's struggle to survive an abusive marriage, it everyone's business, if we hope to affect change.
