PreOptimism
Alecia Z Taylor
A collection of poem and spoken word pieces brought together during a summer of transition. Alecia expresses being held up, held back, and moving forward. Certainly a book for anyone lost in the chaotic mist of life and even those found. PreOptimism is the anatomy of the beautiful struggle. Taylor writes funny, honest, and relateable poetry, covering bountiful territories such as love, lust, lost, the dilemma with America's apprehension of black people and much more
