Iced tea comes in a lot of different variations. It is hugely popular in the Southern states where it is usually sweetened. While in most other states it is served black. In fact, you can find iced tea all over the world either in food stores, where it is sold in bottles, or served in cafes, and restaurants. It is refreshing, thirst-quenching and hydrating. Every year National Iced Tea Day takes place on June 10th. A healthy alternative to carbonated drinks, this is a day to celebrate one of the summer's favorite beverages. Time for Tea! brings together a collection of iced tea recipes including fruity and floral flavors such as strawberry and basil, vanilla, hibiscus and coconut, and lime.
