Set a year after the events of Runaway, Homestead continues the tale of Joshua, Clara and Lizbet. With the addition of Joshua's mother, Maisie, life has settled into comfort and routine, but this is about to change.

Edwin Page is the prolific author of over 60 books. Included among them are The Hanging Tree and Savage, both of which relate to slavery during the American Civil War. He has written three further historical novels set in Cornwall, England, all of which tell emotive stories of social outcasts.
