One of the most versatile routes to the cyclic structures of many different sizes is through an important class of synthetic reactions called cycloadditions. In the book the detailed study and synthesis of (3+2) cycloaddition reactions of various azomethine N?oxides, (3+2),(5+2) cycloaddition reactions of various nitrile oxides, (2+2) cycloaddition reactions of various azomethines through Reformatsky reaction have been carried out. These reactions lead to variety of variously substituted heterocycles like isoxazole -4, 6-diones, oxazepin 1, 3-diones, isoxazoline-4, 6 ?diones, azetidinones and also diaryl-N-?-cyano amines. These have been identified by various characterization techniques like infrared, proton magnetic resonance spectra, mass spectra and elemental analysis.
