Princess Amerra would rather spend her time in peaceful solitude, writing poetry and avoiding her subjects. Burdened with debilitating shyness, Amerra, or Merri, struggles to speak to even her own family. It doesn't help that she is breathtakingly beautiful, or that she's been cursed to prick her finger and fall into an enchanted slumber. The problems add up when Merri's only friend and confidante betrays her, and the entire kingdom falls into a deep sleep.



One hundred years later, Prince Charming kisses the wrong girl, causing the terms of the curse to continue unfulfilled. Merri awakens, but her family and subjects remain bound in eternal sleep in a kingdom overrun by rose brambles.
