Shadow of the Steeple

Shadow of the Steeple tells the story of Delilah Carlson, a teenager looking for acceptance, a chance at rebellion, and forbidden love. Delilah finds everything that she wants when she starts attending church at Assembly of God and meets Jesse Morales, the 22-year-old youth group leader who steals her heart in an instant. However, the forbidden love with an older man leads to a broken path that Delilah could have never anticipated, filled with sex, drugs, lies, and danger where she least expects it.
Throughout her journey of finding the truth, Delilah finds that those she trusts to keep her safe including her friends, the church, the police, and the justice system are not the source of solace she had been seeking. Delilah finds she must answer the ultimate question: Is the life she had dreamed of worth keeping the secrets of the church hidden in the shadow of the steeple?
