25 years after rocking the world with their Wyld Stallyns concert, Bill and Ted are again called upon to save the universe after a visitor from the future warns them that they need to write a new song to unite the world. With no fresh ideas, the middle-aged pair get back in the time-travelling phone booth and venture into the future to obtain the song they need from their future selves.
