The Stand - A Limited Series Complete Mini Series

Nine-part miniseries based on Stephen King's novel. After a deadly man-made virus is accidentally released from a military research lab and kills almost all of the world's population, a band of survivors unite around 108-year-old Mother Abagail (Whoopi Goldberg) while a separate faction led by Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgård) plots their demise. The episodes are: 'The End', 'Pocket Savior', 'Blank Page', 'The House of the Dead', 'Fear and Loathing in New Vegas', 'The Vigil', 'The Walk', 'The Stand' and 'The Circle Closes'.
