The final recordings by one of metal's most original and emotional voices: WARREL DANE (SANCTUARY, NEVERMORE)

On December 13th, 2017, the worldwide metal community mourned the passing of a truly unique voice, an extremely gifted songwriter, and above all a wonderful human being, that will be dearly missed: WARREL DANE, who died of a heart attack during the recordings of this follow-up to his first solo album, 2008's "Praises To The War Machine" album in São Paulo, Brazil.

"Shadow Work" was supposed to be an 80 minutes long opus and while all instruments had been recorded, Warrel passed away before completing all vocal tracks. After reviewing the material that could actually be completed using vocals from various studio and pre-production sessions with Warrel, the decision was made to release his final recordings as "Shadow Work" on October 26th, 2018. "Shadow Work" now contains 41 minutes of music with Warrel's vocals tracked during pre-production and recording sessions . Musically, "Shadow Work" offers technical and progressive metal with eerie, personal lyrics - deep and captivating.
