It’s weird to hear him talk about «pop». Pop music in 2024 means programmed beats, sampled sounds and autotune. Singer, songwriter and producer are very rarely the same person. But pop holds a different meaning for Sivert, who thinks of The Beatles and the wonderful pop era of the 80's when he thinks of pop. It represents a sort of timeless qualityand universal appeal that Sivert has striven to achieve on "Dancing Headlights". Songwriting at its strongest and most immediate.
